Quizzy Clipper — Privacy Policy

Quizzy Clipper never tracks your browsing in the background. Nothing leaves your device unless you click to clip, snapshot, or record a voice note. There is no always-on listening and no analytics on the pages you visit.

• Web clip — the page URL, title, your highlighted selection, and a short readability snippet.
• Snapshot — a screenshot of the visible tab, shown to you for confirmation before it is ever uploaded.
• Voice note — an audio recording and its transcript, captured only while you hold push-to-talk (max 60 seconds).

Each clip is saved to your QuizVerse library and is visible only to you. Clips sync to your account when you are signed in; otherwise they stay in local extension storage on your device.

• We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
• We do not read pages you visit unless you explicitly enable “capture on all sites” in Settings (off by default).
• We do not send page content to analytics. Telemetry is counts and enums only (e.g. how many clips were saved — never their text).

• activeTab / scripting — read the current page’s title, URL, and your selected text only at the moment you click Clip.
• tabs — attribute a capture to the correct page.
• storage — save your settings, block list, and local clips on your device.
• sidePanel — show the capture and clip-list interface.
• alarms — occasionally check your sign-in status so the panel shows the right state.
• host access (quizverse.world / QuizVerse API) — sync your saved clips to your QuizVerse account. No other websites are contacted.

Banking, healthcare, and account pages (such as accounts.google.com and id.atlassian.com) are pre-seeded into a block list. You can add or remove domains anytime in the extension’s Settings.

• Pause clipping for 1 hour, 24 hours, or until you resume.
• Delete any clip from the side panel. Deletions are removed from your library immediately.
• Uninstall at any time — local extension storage is removed with it.
