Common questions

Is QuizVerse FERPA and COPPA compliant?

QuizVerse is built for FERPA-eligible school workflows — student data is treated as an educational record when used inside a class code, and parental consent is required before any under-13 account is created. We sign a school-side DPA on request and align with COPPA §312.5 verifiable-consent requirements. Request the US compliance packet for the latest evidence.

How is student data handled?

By default QuizVerse collects only the data needed to power the practice loop — answer-level performance, streak, and weak-topic map. We do not sell student data, do not show targeted ads to minor accounts, and do not retain identifiable data past account deletion. Class-code mode is configurable to disable optional features (leaderboards, public profiles) school-wide.

How do I get a DPA or security review?

Email business@quizverse.world with your school or district name and we'll send the DPA template, the security review packet (SSO, encryption at rest and in transit, regional hosting, breach notification timeline), and a 30-minute call slot with the founding team. Typical turnaround is 3 business days.
